Beck’s Beer Batter

Information about this recipe: This recipe was created by Karen's daughter, Rebecca (or better known as Beck), who is a chef in a hotel in Seymour, Victoria.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup Beer
  • 1/4 cup Soda Water
  • 2 Tblspn Water
  • 1 cup SR Flour- slightly rounded
  • 1 Tblspn White Vinegar
Method
  • Mix all together until smooth
  • Leave sit in fridge for a bit- optional
  • Coat food in Plain Flour and then dip in Batter
  • Deep fry until golden and cooked
