Orange Marmalade Jam

Ingredients
  • 1.5 kg Oranges
  • 5 kg Lemons
  • 1.5 kg sugar
  • 3 Litres Water
Method
  • Wash fruit
  • Slice all very thinly, making sure to cut off any excess pith

  • Next morning boil for one hour until rind is soft
  • Put in sugar, stir to mix well and is dissolved
  • Boil until it gels when tested
  • Bottle and seal
