Pork Ribs with Smokey BBQ Sauce

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, crushed
  • 2 tspn Smoked Paprika
  • 2 kg American Style Pork Ribs
Method
  • Cut ribs into singles
  • Combine all other ingredients and coat ribs
  • Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours, or overnight
  • Preheat oven to 160C
  • Line a large Baking dish with Alfoil and place a rack in it
  • Put ribs on rack, reserving marinade
  • Bake 1 1/2 hours, turning and basting every 30 minutes
  • Increase oven to 200C
  • Remove cover and baste then cook for 30 minutes or until browned
  • Meanwhile strain marinade into saucepan over medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Thicken with a little cornflour if desired
  • Place ribs in serving dish and pour over sauce
